Todos Santos Music Festival 2012

Todos Santos Vacation Rentals - Todos Santos Music Festival 2012

The new year is kicking off with a few suprises in our sleepy town.  Our Todos Santos vacation rentals are filling up fast and many of our vacation rentals are being booked for extended stays.  One of the reasons for a few more faces in town in January may be related to Peter Buck, guitarist from the recently disbanded music group R.E.M.  It seems that a bit of extra time has has left guitarist Peter Buck with a bit of time on his hands.  Buck is not letting this time go to waste instead he has teamed up with the Palapa Society and has organized and curated the Todos Santos music festival with some of his favorite musicians and bands.  A press release put out by Buck states that the festival will run three weeks and all proceeds will benefit the Palapa society which works locally with disadvantaged familes to provide education, medical assistance, and scholarships.

In addition to Buck, Robyn Hitchcock (The Soft Boys), Bill Rieflin (Ministry), Scott McCaughey (Young Fresh Fellows) and Steve Wynn (The Dream Syndicate) will play at the Hotel California each week starting Jan 5th, 2012.  Each of the artists will perform and Buck plans to sit in with each of the artists.  Admission is free.  However, there are a limited number of tables which The Hotel California has suggested a donation of $5 per seat to reserve.

So get ready!  Book your Todos Santos vacation rental now and get down here!
