Todos Santos is quietly becoming known as one of the best places on earth. A bold statement yes, but one that does hold truth. It’s not hard to find our town’s name in the spotlight these days. A New York Times article, Pueblo Mágico award, and various “Top Ten” designations are just a few of the accolades that have recently been associated with our town. We believe the feeling you get from spending time here by the ocean, at the foot of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, keeps people talking and ultimately coming back year after year.
The natural beauty of Baja California Sur has long drawn a devoted following and artists, surfers, and world travelers here but it’s the small town "Baja culture" that makes Todos Santos unique. This is not a place where you’ll find large resort development and raging nightlife. With airports over an hour’s drive away heavy tourist traffic is not a part of life here. Many visitors might drive up from Cabo San Lucas for a meal at the Hotel California but most return without ever spending a night here. For those of you who who are fortunate to see Todos Santos on an intimate level you’ll find: rich historical architecure, fine art galleries, excellent dining, organic produce, fish tacos, freshly roasted coffee, Mexican pastries, health food cafes, ceviche, world-class surf, yoga, Dharma talks, grey whales, sea turtles and sunsets you’ll remember for a lifetime. We’ve left out a few buzzwords here but we believe you’ll thank us for it later.
